Kristyna was born and raised in a small town in the Czech Republic and moved to Canada in 2018. The daughter of a sports teacher, she was involved with all kinds of physical activities very early. She played volleyball and athletics (400m hurdles and long jump) for more than a decade. After acceptance at the University in Brno, Czech Republic, she started pursuing her career in project management and marketing related to the sport by volunteering and part-time working on multiple events happening all over the Czech Republic, such as the IBU World Championship or Para-Archery World Championship. Kristyna graduated with a Bachelor of Sports Management. She gained a lot of experience working for an established company in Prague, organizing events and long-term projects for well-known brands and local organizations and companies related to hockey, football, and other kinds of sports. During this experience, Kristyna finished her Master’s degree in Sports Marketing at Charles University in Prague in 2018.Outside of work, Kristyna love to enjoy everything that living in Vancouver offers – going camping, hiking and enduro biking during the summer and skiing or ski mountaineering in the winter. As a true Czech, she loves a good beer and company.
